I am in need of an experienced Creo Designer for a six plus month contract assignment. Qualified candidates will be highly fluent with Creo/ProE, with a strong preference for someone versed in the latest version Creo 2.0.
Responsibilities:
Generate new and modify existing 3D models and drawings for new products in Creo by working closely with engineers on their concepts (napkin sketches) and redline changes
Generates solid models and detail drawings in Creo by following Design & GDT standards
Perform tolerance studies on new and existing products to ensure proper fit and recommend appropriate tolerances
Document engineering changes in creo and roll those changes up into assemblies; Develop bill of material (requires understanding of working with WT Parts)
Requirements:
Ideal candidate will be fluent in Creo as a design tool, but also prefer (strongly) someone who can work with Industrial Designers to create new designs on the fly
Mechanical Engineering with understanding of Electrical Hardware
Familiarity working with electronic products data including schematics, board layouts, and product software
Thorough knowledge of GDT, Design and drawing standardsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
