The role is supporting the Digital Life Services organization within Emerging Enterprise and Partnerships. Digital Life is AT&T's professionally monitored home security and home automation service that will provide remote access and management capabilities.
Digital Life International (DLI) Software Service and Technology will offer a turnkey solution to International Service Providers that will consist of the Digital Life platform, complement the E2E solution and facilitate speed to market.
The Senior Product Development Manager manages the product development process for large, complex products/services and enhancements.
The overall goal is to Engage, Retain, and Delight. This product development position is focused on the customer and will manage the customer engagement lifecycle from demonstration to trial to commercial launch. Use your creativity, experience, and passion for customer satisfaction to make your mark in our new endeavor. In your role as Product Development Manager, strategically structure the customer product development programs, to a successful launch and result evaluation. Ultimately your energy, leadership, and innovative ideas will yield significant improvement in key metrics such as customer acquisition and retention. Strong analytical and cross-functional product development background is highly desired. You will utilize wholesale customer and market insights to first map the customer journey and then analyze and evaluate product performance and improvements focused on customer benefits. You will also lead cross-functional efforts to identify customer pain points and operational inefficiencies and drive product and service-based initiatives to prioritize and address opportunities to optimize the customer experience including, but not limited to the execution of the engagement model/program.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Formulate the product development program to develop new product and services related to Digital Life International (DLI).
Indirectly leads others in the creation of new enhancements or applications in anticipation of, or response to, market, competitor, or regulatory influences.
Translates new technologies and market requirements into product design for initial launch and program/product life cycle management after launch.
Manage offer and equipment selection requirements, forecast volumes, target markets, pricing and positioning.
Monitor competitive activity and wholesale customer product profitability.
Track performance against forecast with focus on results.
Collaborate with Pricing & Strategy Organization to oversee market research projects undertaken to understand evolving customer needs for Digital Life International (DLI).
Prepares and presents business case for new products/services tailored to wholesale customers.
Conducts feasibility studies related to new product development.
Work in a cross-functional team environment, and interface with business development, platform technology teams, and finance to develop new products or enhance existing products or services.
Conducts end to end project management of multiple large projects and/or programs and may also manage sub components of a large program.
Expert in the program management discipline with portfolio/program management responsibilities from $10M-$100M.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external customer teams, and act as team lead as needed to provide leadership to less experience professionals
Location - Atlanta, but may consider candidates in other locations.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Interactive Design, Industrial Design, Visual & Multimedia Design, Service Design, Digital & Media.
5 years of product management and development experience
2 years of wireless/telecommunications or security, energy and automation experience
Experience in Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Business-to-Business (B2B) product and service development, and Business Support Systems/Operational Support Systems (BSS/OSS) integration and/or requirements definitions.
Demonstrate willingness to work with International customers: different time zones, effective communication, and capacity to adapt to different market requirements and challenges.
Must be comfortable with conveying the value of new and emerging products, technologies or applications to senior management and across a diverse product team
Product launch and lifecycle management experience
Previous experience leading a cross-functional organization in executing projects from ideation to completion
Ability to adapt to a quickly changing business environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong initiative and the ability to drive projects to completion with limited supervision
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to focus on the key points
Ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail
Team player who values the success of the overall group

6 years of product management and development experience, preferably in new product development
3 years of wireless/telecommunications or security, energy and automation experience

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
