The Admissions Coordinator manages the referral intake and coordinating of admissions. You will be expected to deliver the highest level of customer service to internal and external customers, physicians, referral sources, patients and family members. You will provide analytical insight into the admissions data and referral patterns for business development.
A Bachelor''s degree is required for the Admissions Coordinator position.
Prior related experience in a hospital, physician practice or insurance environment preferred.
Direct experience in third party reimburesement and knowledge of how benefits under the Medicalre program are applied is a plus.
Previous experience in third party reimbursement is desirable.
Must have expertise in problem solving, observation, group dynamics, and interpersonal relations, as well as, an ability to work independently and to prioritize responsibilities.
