- Currently Big Law Firm experience candidates will be reviewed first - OR someone with significant Big-Firm experience (as an associate) and looking to move in-house - be able to interact with upper level management and c-executives and effectively communicate with upper management and international contracts. Regulatory and Compliance experience!

The ideal candidate needs to be detail oriented, can juggle changing priorities and offer excellent, customer-focused legal services to clients, employees, partners and others. The position will report to VP/GC, and will serve as a critical member of the Legal, Compliance & Risk Management team.
This person will be responsible for providing legal services relating to all aspects of the business and a wide variety of legal issues, including new business initiatives in the U.S. and internationally, regulatory and compliance matters, general contract matters and special legal projects. This attorney will also help develop, implement and manage legal and compliance initiatives, including audit and training programs.
Responsibilities:
oProvide general legal advice and support to business in a fast-paced, technology-based business environment. oUnderstand business needs and goals, detect legal issues and obstacles, identify solutions and alternatives, and counsel and communicate with executives and managers regarding legal risks, solutions and alternatives. oDraft, revise and negotiate legal contracts impacting all facets of the business, including client, consulting and vendor agreements. oManage outside counsel. oProvide other legal support as required.
Required QUALIFICATIONS AND
Experience:
oJuris doctor degree and bar membership required (Georgia Bar preferred). o7-10 years corporate transactional legal experience at Big law firm corporate legal department required. oDemonstrated knowledge and experience in corporate legal matters required. oSubstantial international transactional experience required. oPrior experience with insurance regulation and compliance preferred. oExceptional interpersonal skills. oProven ability to change behaviors and innovate. oResult-oriented communication and management skills. oExperience with telecommunications industry beneficial and preferred but not required. oExcellent ability to analyze and solve problems. oDemonstrated commercial negotiation skills. oMust be customer service driven with an upbeat and outgoing personality. oMust be proactive with excellent follow-through. oMust have strong verbal and written communications skills, organizational skills and attention to detail, flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines, and be confident and capable of working with both technology and business contacts in a constantly evolving environment. oAbility to travel, domestically and internationally, up to 20%.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
