About the General Motors Development team:
The innovation behind our team is to think outside the box, deliver innovative solutions and produce commercial quality products. GM's Development team is responsible for architecting and developing web, desktop and mobile solutions using the Agile methodology.
About the role:
The Adobe CQ Designer will utilize strong graphic design and Java skills in order to provide an exceptional user experience. The role requires that the Adobe CQ Designer be responsible for gathering and processing project requirements. From ideation and conceptual problem solving, to creating production-quality graphic components, the Adobe CQ Designer will have no shortage of exciting and demanding tasks at hand. Creativity and initiative are integral to the Adobe CQ Designer role at all stages of the development cycle.
Qualifications
Minimum
Qualifications:
At least 2 years Adobe CQ design experience (campaigns/templates/targeting)
At least 4 years of Java experience (spring/struts)
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline
Experience with mobile devices and tablets (BlackBerry, iOS, and Android)
Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies
Demonstrated experience in the visual design of consumer applications
