Job Summary
Responsible for designing and conducting training programs. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of associate training. Participate in the curricula development and enhancement process.
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities
- Works with customers to translate business requirements into defined training needs including conducting needs analysis and developing learning objectives, scope, audience, timing, delivery method, and resource requirements to fulfill training needs within the budget and timeline requirements.
Applies instructional design and adult learning theory to manage the design, development, implementation and maintenance of assigned training programs which may include instructor led, virtual instructor led, eLearning and blended learning programs.
Designs various before, during and after learning components and works with HR Partners, managers and associates to ensure that knowledge and skills are transferred to the job.
Leads vendor Request For Proposal, selection, and Service Level Agreement efforts, in conjunction with HR Planning group. Establishes and manages vendor relationships.
Manages program marketing and communications, as well as definition, collection and roll-up of program metrics. Measures and evaluates the effectiveness and ensures achievement of objectives and alignment with business priorities.
Drives training program delivery strategy and may deliver training programs.
Contributes to authoring development standards, processes, and templates to produce consistent, quality instructional materials.
Nature and Scope
Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to results expected. Determines and develops approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.
Work Environment
Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be eighteen years of age
Must pass the Drug Test
Must pass the Background Check
Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable
Education and Experience
Typically requires BS/BA in related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in related field; certification is required in some areas OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in related field. Certification is required in some areas.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 2 years recent experience with e-learning to include industry standard authoring tools (ex: Captivate, Articulate) and virtual classroom (ex: Adobe Connect).
Demonstrated experience with adult learning principles and curriculum design to include classroom and blended solutions, and ADDIE process (Assess, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate).
Project management experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
