Our Summer Scholars assist clients in all aspects of retaining, motivating, developing, compensating, and benefiting people, including consulting to organizations on ways to effectively deliver and operate the HR function and deal with HR and people issues within their business operations. It is a genuine opportunity to work on real challenges to help clients more effectively deal with their human capital and people issues within the context of business operations and organization performance.
New Analyst Summer Scholars within Human Capital will have the opportunity work with some of the most highly regarded people anywhere and some of the world s most influential companies.
Representative Experience
Assist clients in addressing their most complex business challenges by maximizing performance of the Human Resource (HR) function through leading-edge systems and processes
Focus on driving efficiency of the HR function through implementation of technology packages such as SAP / SuccessFactors, Oracle, and Workday
Define, build and implement enhancements to HR processes and structure that will improve the HR function s alignment to business objectives and ability to help drive business results
Guide organizations through technology changes by bridging the gap between business, change management and technical teams
Drive HR technology implementations from a functional perspective to supplement technical teams with planning, process design, configuration, user acceptance testing, etc.
Enhance the Sales function s top- and bottom-line impact by applying innovative Customer Relationship Management (CRM) technology and improving sales processes
Support of technology implementations from a technical perspective including experience with cloud based technologies, data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, systems development life cycle, etc.
Targeted Qualifications
Successful Human Capital Analyst Summer Scholar candidates will possess the following attributes:
Candidate for Bachelor s or Master s degree with 3.2 or higher cumulative GPA strongly preferred
Effective listening skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to maintain integrity and professionalism
Computer skills Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Word, Excel, Visio), online research, etc.
Willingness to travel
Demonstrated ability to learn, apply and communicate business-related concepts and ideas
Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and apply problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ability to employ research and analytical thinking
Demonstrated ability to operate in a technical environment
Demonstrated capabilities in team work and leadership
Demonstrated ability to achieve results
Demonstrated understanding of Deloitte and Consulting
Demonstrated interest in Human Capital, Technical (such as cloud based technologies) and/or HR Transformation subject matter
