Description:
Calculate contractor compensation on a weekly basis and perform variance analysis of this compensation.
Work with terminals to insure accuracy and resolve discrepancies of contractor information in our database.
Create weekly journal entries to record contractor activity.
Provide payment data, wire requirements, and manual checks for contractor pay.
Reconcile assigned accounts and post assigned journal entries.
Prepare ad hoc analysis for management
Maintain systems and databases based on changes in business
Additional accounting tasks assigned from Controller and Senior Accountant.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other business related field or equivalent experience.
Excel experience required (Pivot tables and Macros).
Logistics experience preferred.
Detail and deadline oriented.
Database and SQL experience preferred.
Great Plains experience preferred.
Ability to work with functional groups and different level of employees throughout the organization to effectively and professionally achieve business results.
Strong follow up skills; ability to organize applicable department timeline and follow up with internal and external customer needs.
