Senior Manager _JDA / WMS Application

Primary Responsibility:
Manages the Business Analyst team whose purpose is conduct analysis, design, and testing portions of the SDLC as well as assist with configuration and testing in support of WMS implementations. The team primarily works on JDA applications but also may work on other applications and integrations as required. The team works closely with other Operational and IT resources including the Configuration, Training & Support, EDI, Development and Architecture teams to ensure quality launches. This position and the team as well also plays a key role in product management, designing specs when needed and ensuring the designs meet long-term needs and goals.
Essential Functions:
1. Manage the Business Analyst team and team members.
2. Manage and Oversee analysis, functional design and specifications in conjunction with the Operational and Architecture teams.
3. Work closely with Operations, Configuration, Training & Support, Project Managers, EDI, Development and other groups in support of WMS implementations
4. Work closely with Manager, BPO to ensure maximum standardization and efficiencies are gained.
5. Responsible for QA testing for software changes for WMS applications and other applications as necessary
6. Manage QA for WMS implementations ensuring quality, site involvement, workflow and functionality meets customer and operational requirements.
7. Manage QA to ensure internal and external testing is executed as necessary to meet project requirements.
8. Ensure process and documentation initiatives are followed and communicated with the Facilities, Configuration, BA team, Training & Support team, Project Manager and other key personnel involved with the project.
9. Participate in Gap Analysis, AITB, Dry Run and other meetings as necessary.
10. Serve on the WMS Product Management board to ensure WMS development meets clients long-term needs.
Minimum Qualifications/Additional Skills:
3-5 years managerial experience in a Manager or Supervisor role with direct reports.
5
years of experience in technical fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 of those years with implementing, configuring and/or testing software applications functionality such as WMS, Distribution, Transportation, and Labor Management.
RedPrairie WMS and WFM are required.
Needs to be a first-class problem solver - Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail. Knowledge of transportation and warehouse industries.
Extensive experience with SQL, C#, Java and RedPrairie MOCA required
Strong communications skills (written/verbal), with emphasis on demonstrated ability to translate complex concepts between business and technical groups.
Strong customer service orientation.
50% travel to assist with system implementations
Physical Requirements:
While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; hear or talk: use close vision; use hands to grasp, handle or feel objects; and type and manipulate controls. Employee is occasionally required to use distance vision, stand, kneel or crouch and lift up to 10 lbs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
