Our client is actively searching for a Regional Business Development Manager. The incumbent will drive marketing and business development efforts for a large law firm within the southeast US with emphasis on client development and new business opportunities. The RBDM will provide national support for major projects. The RBDM will work closely with marketing and corporate leadership in developing and executing plans which support the firm's strategic initiatives and align with the overall goals of the firm.
This is a hands-on role requiring the ability to provide an array of marketing and business development services to the firm's teams and lawyers in the region, including project management, budget oversight, event management, proposal development and client team support. Works closely with the national marketing services and public relations teams, as well as with peers in other regions and within business development generally.
Must Have Requirements:
Qualified applicants will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
A minimum of five years business development experience in a professional services firm, or other client relationship-based organization.
Previous law firm experience preferred.
Strong commitment to client service excellence and teamwork.
Must possess the highest standards of ethical conduct and professionalism.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse group of professionals.
Sound judgment and flexibility.
Must have the ability to work well under pressure, patience, diplomacy, high stress tolerance, excellent interpersonal communication skills, ability to prioritize workload and adapt to changing conditions.
Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer.
Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication.
Extensive travel required.
