MSW - Masters of Social Work
Evaluates patients'/families' appropriateness for care and their individual psychosocial needs. Develops plan of care in coordination with Interdisciplinary Team and provides social services for the patients and families as applicable through the performance of a variety of services, interventions and modalities. This position will care for patients in the neonate, infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric age groups. Employee performs clinical duties in accordance with population specific guidelines and adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined in policy and procedures.
Georgia license in social work; maintains current BCLS certification. Evidence of auto liability insurance in the amount of $100,000 for Bodily Injury each person/300,000 each accident/100,000 for property damage liability.
Master's degree in Social Work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. Two years medical social work, preferably in hospice or home health setting.
LMSW or LCSW REQUIREDEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
