Remote SSRS/Power BI Developer (Contract-to-Hire)
As a SSRS/Power BI Developer within the healthcare organization, you will be responsible for leveraging data visualization tools to create impactful reports and dashboards that support various healthcare functions.
Your role will involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to transform complex healthcare data into valuable insights.
Responsibilities:
Develop, design, and maintain reports and dashboards using SSRS and Power BI, focusing on healthcare data analysis and visualization.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to understand clinical and operational requirements for data reporting.
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (e.

, HIPAA) and data security standards in all reports and dashboards.
Create data models and analytics solutions to enhance patient care, operational efficiency, and decision-making processes.
Optimize SQL queries and database structures for efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
Perform data quality checks and ensure accuracy and integrity in healthcare-related reports and analytics.
Support continuous improvement efforts by providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
Qualifications:

years of proven experience as a SSRS/Power BI Developer or similar role in the healthcare industry.
Solid understanding of healthcare data, terminologies (ICD, CPT, SNOMED, etc.
), and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.
).
Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and relational database concepts.
Experience with SSRS, Power BI, and healthcare data visualization best practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate healthcare data into actionable insights.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals.
Familiarity with healthcare analytics tools and methodologies is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
