Schedule and perform surgeries for both Epi-Off and Epi-On Crosslinking procedures.
Responsibilities:
Caring for patients in a professional and personable manner Comprehensive pt work ups and Testing including Pentacam's, ITRACE, OCT's, Manual Pachs, IOP.
s, Dry Eye testing, dilations, Manifest Refractions, Pregnancy tests (for surgery patients) Submitting clinical information to Glaukos for insurance coverage Professionally inform patients about co-pays and payment policies Collecting surgical fees and co-pays Creating ledgers and batches accurately and in a timely manner Scheduling patients for Initial study visits, pre-ops, CXL treatments for both Epi-On and Epi-Off, and post op visits Performing both procedures Answer emails/voicemails in a timely manner Manages and prioritizes multiple tasks Performs other job-related tasks as assigned Communicate effectively and demonstrates professionalism with referring doctors Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years' experience in an ophthalmic practice Demonstrates high standards of professionalism and ethics Experience in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Exhibits good time management skills Reliable and dependable Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Job Type:
