Find your next career opportunity and make a difference doing what you love at Children's.Job DescriptionEstablish strong connections with clinical educators and clinical leadership to plan learning goals, drive cross campus learning initiatives, assess needs and deliver education and training solutions that support and enhance clinical competency, professional development, and improved patient outcomes. Provide mentorship and support for department educator teams, including focus on adult learning principles, instructional design, root cause analysis, and measurement / outcomes. Drive cross campus initiatives within units. Develop strong clinical management relationships to drive learning initiatives. In conjunction with System Learning, lead clinical education efforts for system level projects.Experience 3 years of experience in professional development and/or education 5 years of overall clinical experience, pediatrics preferred Proven experience designing and leading training projects Demonstrated excellent relationship, influence, and communication skills Strong project management experience Preferred Qualifications Clinical Educator experience preferred Master's degree in nursing or allied health Professional specialty nursing certification Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Certification PALS or PEARS provider PALS or PEARS instructor Education Bachelor of Science in nursing, allied health, or related field Certification Summary Current GA RN license, current multi-state compact RN license, or current license in related field Nursing Professional Development (NPD) Certification within one year of hire BLS Healthcare Provider within 30 days of hire Certification aligned to supported area(s) is a plus Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Builds strong relationships and possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to flex and adapt to changes in priorities Passion for continuous process improvement Adept at conflict resolution, problem solving, critical thinking, and prioritization of clinical needs. Acts as clinical education resource to provide mentoring, support, and the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and competence along the continuum of novice to expert for Clinical Educators Collaborates and consults with clinical operations to incorporate educational best practices, facilitate change, and enhance department/system goals with shared leadership councils, system committees, and/or interdisciplinary teams. Partners with unit educators, managers, and other system leaders to set annual goals, competencies, and educations plans related to delivery of healthcare; maintains knowledge of and coaches' others in current best practices and evidence-based practices. Fosters professional development of others via constructive performance feedback, input, coaching, and the instruction/delivery of system learning initiatives using adult learning concepts. Plans, develops, and implements educational plan(s), incorporating principles of project management, adult learning, action learning and facilitation to meet a wide variety of learning and performance objectives throughout the system. Partners with clinical areas and quality educators to address quality of care and safety issues through performance consulting and utilizing instructional design principles to plan, design, coordinate, and facilitate education; builds relationships across team, other departments, and medical staff members. Demonstrates fiscal responsibility in supporting budget, productivity, and resource utilization. Serves as a system education leader to guide practice change that ensures efficient and safe patient care through collaboration with physicians, interprofessional team, hospital leadership, and staff. Removes or escalates educational barriers to appropriate leader to achieve goals. Supports plans for system and unit educational change by evaluating education and training programs to determine the overall quality and effectiveness. Supports regulatory agency readiness and consults with accreditation to develop and implement activities designed to meet the Joint Commission and other regulatory agency requirements. Collects and analyzes data and information related to system clinical education initiatives, quality, and patient safety gaps, involving learners and key organizational stakeholders. Evaluates education and training program(s) to determine the overall quality and effectiveness, using evaluation data to develops and present recommendations for change, disseminating. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
