1K - $113K a year We're searching for an Operations Manager of Tree Care and Landscaping Services, someone who works well in a fast-paced setting.
In this position you will lead and oversee our tree care and landscaping services.
You will be responsible for managing and coordinating up to 10 crews, including tree trimmers, planters, landscapers, and arborists.
Experience in the tree industry is strongly preferred, and management experience over a large team is a significant plus.
The role involves direct management of 40
reports, making hiring decisions, conducting training, and handling terminations when necessary.

Lead and supervise a team of 10 production crews in Atlanta, GA.
Collaboration:
Work with maintenance, administration, and safety managers to promote efficiency of service delivery, a safe work environment, and a positive work culture.
Team Management:
Manage 40
direct reports and conduct annual performance reviews for production workers.
Incentive Programs:
Manage incentive programs and benefits for production staff.
Client and Employee Relations:
Handle damages, client relations, and resolution, along with implementing employee programs to reduce damage.
Workforce Planning:
Build the roster board, ensuring sufficient personnel for workload, handling last-minute changes, callouts, etc.
Equipment Management:
Manage equipment movement and availability, communicating effectively with the Maintenance Manager.
Job Set Up:
Relay job set up issues back to sales and assist in smoothing out same-day hiccups.
Logistics:
Handle mulch requests, coordinate the sale of wood chips, and manage the comings and goings of Semis for pickups.
Human Resources:
Hire, fire, and discipline production workers.
Mentor and assist production workers as needed.
Attendance and PTO:
Manage production worker PTO, tardiness, and make time clock corrections.
Site Oversight:
Visit job sites periodically for oversight.
Skills & Requirements 5-7 years of direct management experience over a team or crew Proven experience in the tree industry, with strong knowledge of arboriculture and landscaping preferred Management experience over a large team is a significant plus.
Ability to handle a high volume of communication - 300 texts/50 emails per day.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Availability for early mornings, late evenings, and extended hours.
