Summary:
Ogletree Deakins' Atlanta, GA office has the opportunity for a Communications Coordinator to join the firm's expanding practice.
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for assisting with execution of the firm's communications strategy.
The person in this role will help develop and disseminate proactive messaging on behalf of the firm, coordinating with the Communications team, administrative departments, and firm leadership to ensure regular, timely, and relevant employee- and client-facing communications.
The Communications Coordinator will support the Communications team by ensuring that messaging is consistent across all channels and executing communications plans.
While this role is primarily focused on internal and client-facing communications, the Communications Coordinator may also support the firm and its attorneys by assisting with public relations strategies.
This position may work on a hybrid schedule out of our Atlanta office.
Essential Functions:
Support Communications team in the execution of the firm's communications strategyPlan, edit, write, and distribute strategic communications for various platforms and audiencesAssist with the execution of strategies, plans, and protocols for firm-wide internal communicationsWork closely with members of the firm's Communications team, various departments, and local offices to identify and develop appropriate messagingAssist with planning and execution of weekly ODConnection internal newsletterAssist in the design of appealing and effective communications templates using ContactMonkey, Canva, and/or other design softwareAssist in the planning of Town Hall meetings and prepare messaging for other firm eventsTrack and maintain database of all firm communications, activities, and related metricsRegularly read local and national publications, flagging articles pertinent to our practices, and proactively develop media pitches.
Perform any other duties within the communications function, as requiredRequirements:
Requires a college degree, preferably in journalism, creative writing, communications, or English.
Candidates must be professional, and excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
Previous internal communications experience is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
