Job
Summary:


The Legal Administrative Assistant reports to the Converge Corporate Counsel and provides legal administrative support for the Legal Department as well as assists and collaborates with Contracts & Contract Governance and other cross-functional teams throughout Converge. This role also helps to coordinate with external parties such as the Company's customers, suppliers and contractors as needed.



Essential Functions:


Assist the Legal Department with various research projects and tasks.


Help with the identification and organization of applicable federal state and local workforce-related laws and regulations.


Manage and organize legal documents, including standard templates.


Review, edit, format, draft, and revise legal documents as requested.


Maintain updated list of corporate and subsidiary officers and directors.


Other duties as assigned by the Legal Department


Provide assistance to the Contracts & Contracts Governance team with certain of their administrative processes which may include but not be limited to the following:


Assist with the Contracts Inbox.


Assist with the review, drafting, and filing of state-specific registration and reporting regulatory filings;


Perform Contracts Repository research - review contract language to identify specific key clauses (e.g., pay terms, non-solicitation, confidentiality, non-compete, liquidated damages, annual renewals) for litigation, compliance, and tracking purposes.


Digitally file completed documents into the Central Contracts Repository.


Help update SharePoint metadata to ensure accuracy.


Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies


  • Working knowledge of contract lifecycle processes, from initiation, review, renewal, change orders, addenda, amendments, and other associated documentation.
  • Working knowledge of standard contract provisions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in identifying and analyzing contract details, (e.g., expiration dates, data protection, HIPPA compliance, insurance requirements, and other commercial and public sector regulatory compliance standards to support effective decision-making).
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and related software.

Education and
Experience:


  • 2 years of college or higher in business administration, legal studies or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Paralegal education is desired but not required.
  • Experience in contract administration preferred.
  • Experience with interpreting legal documents within IT industry

Physical Requirements:


  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
