This position assists staff with technical support of desktop computers, applications, and related technology. Support includes specification, installation, and testing of computer systems and peripherals within established standards and guidelines. Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve unique, non-recurring problems. The position utilizes one-on-one consultancy to end users and Acsentials staff.
The employee in this position also assists in the maintenance and testing of network servers and associated equipment. The employee is also required to read requirements and design solutions for end users. The positions responsibilities require independent analyses, communication and problem solving. Work is performed with little supervision and requires initiative and judgment.
KEY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Install and configure items for usability of desktop computers, peripheral equipment and software within established standards and guidelines.
Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with desktop computing equipment and software.
Work with CEO and Senior Project Managers to design solutions for the corporate office.
Interact with numerous computer platforms in a multi-layered client server environment.
Ensure desktop computers interconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validation systems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems, application servers, and administrative systems.
Train and orient staff on use of hardware and software.
Recommend and / or perform upgrades on systems to ensure longevity.
Assess functional needs to determine specifications for purchases.
Work with CEO and Accounting Department on purchasing hardware and software.
Assist in maintaining LAN/WAN records and, as appropriate, telephone systems cable.
Performs additional IT support duties as required.
Essential Skills and
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree preferred with two years technical experience in a related area. Four years of technical experience with training and/or certifications are acceptable.
Auxiliary Skills:
Knowledge of business and management principles; computer skills and knowledge of office software packages.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
