We have an exciting Desktop Engineer opportunity with one of our Fortune 500 clients in Atlanta, Georgia. Although being rooted in Atlanta, this consultant will be working with affiliates of this company from NYC to LA through phone and virtual support. This is an opportunity for an already experienced candidate to sharpen and build on their skills.
The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded IT professional with strong troubleshooting knowledge. This candidate will also be responsible for delivering End User Computing (EUC) and cloud solutions to customers with a focus on VMware, Citrix products and related technologies.
Atlanta, GA
$35-40/hour
Required Skills
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills with both Windows and Mac OS systems (desktop, laptops and servers)
5
years in implementation, maintenance and design of the EIS Citrix 6.5/7 and VMWare VDI
Resolve Citrix and VDI related support incidents in a timely manner
Understanding of networking, storage, security, and MS technologies within Active Directory environment
Desired Skills
SQL, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, or C#

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
