Job Description:
Assists in directing the strategic planning, development, and implementation of programs. Represents the organization at meetings, conferences and other events. May develop and present speeches or presentations to generate or enhance awareness of program(s). Provides technical support by evaluating established processes, conducting training, attending operational meetings and networking with affiliated groups. Monitors progress toward achieving established objectives and deadlines. Participates in planning, administering and monitoring program related budgets. Conducts research, designs new initiatives, and collaborates with others to ensure program(s) remain viable. May serve on, hold office in, or chair committees. May write publishable articles and papers. May supervise staff. Oversees or assists in developing operational and statistical reports for management and regulatory agencies. Ensures required records and documentation are maintained. Performs related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a field related to the program(s) and five years of program related experience, OR equivalent combination of experience, education, and training. PREFFERED
Qualifications:
Develops and implements changes to the program in concert with the directions of the faculty-elected Honors Committee Provides data, reports, and benchmarking to the Honors Committee, including the annual report Resolves student, faculty, and departmental concerns related to Honors Develops Honors orientation materials Works with Program Coordinator to administer Honors program and requirements Assistant Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Emory College Assists the Deputy Title IX Coordinator in implementing academic supportive measures, conferring with faculty and informing them of required measures, and documenting resolution of proposed measures Receives reports and refers individuals to the Title IX office/process Serves as back-up for Deputy Title IX Coordinator Participates in required university Title IX trainings Curriculum, Assessment, and Educational Policy Assists on an ongoing basis with the GER assessment, including drafting communications and reports Reviews curricular proposals with the associate dean and communicates concerns about course proposals to departments and faculty Works with associate dean, departments, and Degree Tracker team to ensure program requirements for majors and minors are functioning Resolves faculty-related concerns working with direction from the two associate deans Supports associate dean with graduation awards and honors
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Program ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
