Overview:
This position is responsible to drive new business growth through existing products and/or services offerings within Health Payer Services as well as the growth of new product and/or service offerings New business growth may come through state and federal agencies but could also include MCOs and/or new strategic partnerships Additional growth opportunities could come through the acquisition of companies which would strengthen Health's current products and/or services offerings or by adding additional complementary product and/or service offerings Responsibilities Support Health Payer Services with development of strategic plan with balanced focus on core business for short term, building emerging businesses in the medium term, and creating viable options for the long term Execute strategic plan, evaluate on a quarterly basis and adjust as the market dictates Identify growth opportunities, evaluation of solutions and impact on the organization both financially and operationally Engage Payer Services Management Team in innovative thinking to develop new solutions and/or execute on ones prioritized Change agent for initiatives needed to carry out strategy across the company Continuous evaluation of priorities to ensure business units remain aligned with overall strategy and initiatives are on track Drive execution of strategic initiatives across cross functional lines, to ensure they receive sufficient resources and attention to meet company initiatives Refine strategy by conveying promising strategic ideas from within the organization to senior management Develop successful proposals, presentations and marketing material to drive new business growth Travel to client and prospective client locations to present product and services offerings in an effort to drive new business Qualifications Education/Experience Successful leadership of major initiatives in mid to large size companies A minimum of 5 years in an executive leadership position Experience in business development and leading teams Experience in Medicaid Bachelor's Degree Required Skills Excellent networking skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills Strong knowledge of state and federal policy as it relates to the business and new business concepts Ability to convey new ideas in the way of products and services Ability to develop winning proposals Ability to compose reports, analyze business and financial data Analyze business needs Advanced facilitation skills Ability to communicate and present effectively at all levels of the company Rapid and effective decision making Ability to influence Ability to analyze and interpret state and federal policy
Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Sales Management & Operations, Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
