Primary Responsibilities and
Essential Functions:
o Interface and collaborate with other Technology leads and Business partners to define, forecast, and plan for all markets' required network capacity needs o Drive for success and results driven. Manage time and team efficiently to deliver deadlines and initiatives o Lead evaluation of Hardware, Protocols, and Subsystems (current and future) to support state of DOCSIS, Metro, and Transport network needs for new products/capabilities and improve lifecycle of existing platforms o Improve and optimize DOCSIS, Metro and Transport network, including ancillary such as optics, to identify key areas of improvement or gaps o Lead the team to support deployment activities for DOCSIS, Metro and Transport network designs in the field o Oversee and advise others in solution development:
including data modeling, data repository, data transformation and analytics. o Budget creation and supervision for DOCSIS, Metro and Transport integrated network projects. Responsible for planning field and center expenses, periodic review and modification of INP programs budgets, and analyze budget actual performance and business conditions across multiple projects and markets
Qualifications:
Minimum:
o 5
years of experience required in related field (i.e. IT, Engineering, Technical Operations, etc.) o 2
years of managing team of network planners responsible for network capacity plans. o 3
years operational experience associated with service delivery platforms o Analytical expertise analyzing operational performance data and driving process or platform improvements o Excellent presentation skills; ability to distill and present actionable information from complex research or analysis o Excellent interpersonal, leadership, listening, written, and verbal communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams throughout the organization o Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite Preferred:
o Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology-related field o 5
years of operational and capacity planning associated with service delivery platforms. o Extensive working knowledge in premises networking technologies platforms and managed services o Proven effective collaboration experience working with Product, Strategy, and Field Services to develop technology roadmaps and deliver project objectives o Knowledge of DOCSIS and IP Network Engineering o Continuous coordination with internal and external partner organizations will be necessary to insure successful application of network platform initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills will be needed to sell initiatives to Sr. Management and boundary partners, and support Product and Operations needs in the application of these programs.
Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
