Responsibilities Primary Responsibility:
The Global IT Financial Analyst is a key postion in the IT PMO that supports, financial reporting, IT budget creation and maintenance, assist with IT financial closings, and financial forecasting for both Operating and Capital expense activities. Performs financial project monitoring and reporting activities for IT globally:
N America, Europe, Australia/New Zealand. Actively assists in identifying, tracking, analyzing and publishing IT metrics and progress reports in support of IT acqusitions and key projects.
Essential Functions:
o A leader in IT investment budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes o Maintaining, tracking and reporting on IT Operating and Capital budgets o Prepare, review and present required documentation for CEA (Capital Expenditure Authorization) requests o Facilitate, review and discuss monthly IT Cost Analysis Reports to ensure all accounts are within budget and/or charged to the correct accounts and act upon any corrections needed o Initiate regular meetings to discuss contracts and project activities o Actively participate in the yearly global budget cycle; Assist and deliver budget data consolidation and presentations o Work with Project Managers and senior IT management to assist in tracking project budgets, and perform financial portfolio monitoring for major IT initiatives globally o Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis o Comply with safety rules and environmental regulations o Be aware of departmental Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) o Willingness to learn and understand Americold's commitment to sustainability o Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications &
Experience:
o Bachelor degree (Plus:
Business Administration, Finance, and/or Statistics) o 3 - 5 years - Financial Planning & Analysis, Financial Modeling, Business Intelligence Tools, and Financial Database Tools o Exceptional analytical skills and natural curiosity regarding financial metrics and key business drivers o Strong understanding of finance principals and financial accounting for operations and acquisitions o A self-starter that can interact across all levels of the organization in support of major IT initiatives globally; ability to reach out to colleagues in other geographies in search of solutions to problems as well as to collaborate on major, global IT initiatives o Ability to gather data, compile information, perform complex analysis and prepare reports in multi-currency environments o Strong attention to detail and sense of ownership o Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as coordinating the efforts of others and works well with people across a wide range of levels and experiences o High level of maturity and respect for confidentiality o High proficiency in working with spreadsheets, presentations, documents and databases o Excellent communications skills o Experience working with or within an IT Organization is a plus Knowledge & Employment Standards:
o High to expert level proficiency in MS Excel. Skill set including, but not limited to:
o Pivot tables o V Lookups o Light macros o Nesting functions, etc. o High to expert level proficiency in MS PowerPoint including experience in creating PowerPoint presentations for Senior Management o Solid understanding of database usage for extracting and reporting purposes o Experience with PPM, Financial Management, CRM and ERP tools - JIRA, and other tools a plus o Good knowledge and understanding of project budgets including Capital and Operating Expenses; Periodic Budget Forecasts including monthly reconciliations o Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within agreed timeframes through autonomous, effective prioritization of duties and functions o Strong follow-up skills; ability to organize applicable department timelines and proactively follow up with internal and external customer needs o Ability to work with functional groups and different levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally o Self-motivated; able to work independently to complete tasks and respond to department requests and to collaborate with others to utilize their resources and knowledge to identify quality solutions. o Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively o Continuous process improvement mentality - developing and driving new and/or improved financial management processes for IT o Project management experience and / or a deep understanding and interest in the process of project management is a plus Physical Requirements & Abilities:

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
