Responsibilities Primary Responsibility:
The Director M&A leads the overall mergers and acquisition activities for the global business in conjunction with the EVP & Chief Investment Officer through a disciplined approach to evaluating potential acquisitions. In addition, this role is responsible for developing the business case and valuation model to gain approval from the Board of Trustees.
Essential Functions:
o Drive understanding and development of the M&A strategic direction and acquisition priorities o across Americold's global operations o Develop and deploy robust acquisition pipeline process, leveraging strategic business unit o priorities o Work with internal and external stakeholders to design ongoing outreach programs to develop o relationships with target acquisitions o Identify and screen potential acquisition targets, support target identification activities and help o to manage a comprehensive acquisition pipeline o Identify and develop creative capital deployment strategies including, but not limited to, joint o ventures o Screen, analyze and develop strong business cases for each acquisition, including quantitative o support for annual operating plan and investment activities o Support operational due diligence, including market strength, technology analyses, competitive o position and operational effectiveness to validate growth and performance improvement initiatives o Lead/support financial due diligence, including current and projected performance expectations o and financial transaction modeling o Lead/support valuation modeling, and provide valuation expertise o Lead/support communications with appropriate internal stakeholders (Communications are o expected to be proactive, timely, open, and collaborative, with a Qualifications Qualifications &
Experience:
o 10
years experience with driving large projects with a minimum of 4
years experience in o corporate development initiatives o Experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or corporate strategy o consulting with financial modeling and valuation skills preferred Knowledge & Employment Standards:
o Strong project management and business operations skills with direct experience leading M&A o integrations o Experience participating and leading multi-functional teams o Effective communication and stakeholder management skills required for large team operations o Proven time management, organization, and prioritization skills with the ability to be nimble on o tight deadlines o Experience communicating and acting as an advisor to senior leadership and partners Physical Requirements & Abilities:

Salary Range:
$200K -- $250K
Minimum Qualification
Corporate FinanceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
