GIS Application Developer

Primary responsibilities include development and ongoing support of the GIS applications at Southern Company. Responsibilities also include assisting team members and vendors with analysis, documentation, and testing of changes to the GIS application environment. The successful candidate will work in a team environment that includes IT team members, management, and customers to identify and develop effective GIS solutions to meet business requirements. Education /
Experience:
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering required 3 to 5 years experience with GIS application development, or support is required Experience with C#, Java or other object oriented programming language is required. Working experience of ESRI's .NET or, Java SDK required Knowledge of Esri's REST API preferred Experience with Python is preferred. Experience in the utility industry is preferred. Experience with Oracle is preferred. Experience with TypeScript and Angular preferred Working knowledge of ESRI JavaScript API preferred. Experience with Windows server administration and configuration preferred Competencies Candidate must be able to build and effectively manage personal relationships within a large IT organization and with multiple vendors. Candidate must be able to manage production support and project related activities simultaneously. Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with a team. Candidate must be able to work in a professional environment with limited direct supervision. Methodical approach to solving problems Must be willing to learn new skills across rapidly changing solutions Must be able to document user requirements and develop solutions to meet their business objectives Must value trust, superior performance and commitment to success
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
