Role will be responsible for all aspects of designated projects, including control of scope, schedule, and commitments on behalf of the impacted business and Operations teams. Scrutinize and speak to development requirements from both an operational and technical perspective. PRIMARY DUTIES/KEY RESPONSIBILITES DUTY:
o Ensures all stakeholders and pertinent leaders are reliably and appropriately informed of project status, issues, risks, and meeting outcomes. o Collate and synthesize project information into a meaningful view of project health and progress. o Ensure that all stakeholders understand their role, responsibility and depth of attention required at both the project and program level. o Seeks out and engages representatives from critical teams at the right time, providing the necessary context to gain buy-in and instill necessary sense of urgency. Includes project managers, release train engineers, and Product owners among others. o Reinforce the use of appropriate and common communication tools and document repositories to maintain cohesion across the project. Assist in the development of tracking tools necessary to meet the changing needs of the projects. o Deliver presentations to internal customers, executive management, and other project stakeholders o Create, socialize, and maintain project artifacts including scope definitions, diagrams (workflow, dataflow, architectural) o Participation and documentation of the discussions and negotiation of requirements, commitments, milestones, timelines and key terms and conditions. Communicate the outcomes of those sessions; identify and escalate risks that surfaced independently or by other stakeholders. o Capture and track action items across functional groups o Stay abreast of all milestone dates, identify any potential slippage as early as possible and mitigate any risks associated with that slippage o Actively monitor project risks and scope creep to foresee and identify potential problems and solutions o Be a team player, seek feedback, and influence the right decisions o Client focused - ensure we exceed the customer's expectations on delivery TECHNICAL/FUNCTIONAL SKILLS o Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for customer excellence o Experience in complex, matrixed organizations working with a wide breadth of stakeholders and high-performing teams o Willingness to be flexible/adaptable in day-to-day tasks o Demonstrated success facilitating Agile processes o A meticulous attention to detail, a can-do attitude, innovative o A sense of urgency, and the ability to work in an extremely fast paced environment with competing, and frequently changing priorities o Ability to travel o Enthusiasm for rapid change o Strong understanding of Waterfall and Agile methods o Ability to create and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across the enterprise o Expertise negotiating and advocating on behalf of the client and stakeholders as well as managing conflict o Demonstrated experience facilitating productive meetings as well as strong verbal and written communication skills o Experience developing workflow and dataflow diagrams in Visio or other software application
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related field and 5 years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. 5-7 years of experience in project/program management Automotive experience is a must SDLC experience is a must Experience with B2B software is a plus PgMP certification, or PMP is a plus Proficiency in MS suite of products and project management software.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Operations ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
