Position Overview We are in process of advancing our manufacturing and supply chain processes and accelerating our path to Industry 4.0. The Director, IT Digital Manufacturing & Supply Chain is a forward thinking technologist that can accelerate our focus areas such as building stronger foundational technology capabilities, reducing complexity, employing digital transformation concepts, and leveraging disruptive technology. The incumbent is responsible for understanding the current manufacturing systems landscape and designing a roadmap that expands our proven capabilities and incorporates advanced technologies to enable Novelis's Factory of the Future vision of a highly connected, operationally intelligent manufacturing enterprise. The leader in this space will work collaboratively with our Global Manufacturing organization, regional and global IT leaders, and regional Operations leaders. Responsibilities & Qualifications Key
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the business leadership and cross-functional teams to enable a competitive advantage through the definition and implementation of the technology components of the Novelis' Factory of the Future vision. Collaborate with key stakeholders in IT, Manufacturing and Supply Chain (global and regional) to solve manufacturing facilities toughest problems, providing end-to-end technology support to ensure value is delivered and sustained by Establishing agile, multi-year strategic IT roadmap of tools to advance WCM strategy Understanding technology requirements and design playbook to deliver the factory of the future (reference architecture for L0-L5 systems) Supporting plant expansion projects addressing our growth strategy Develop and manage progress against the detailed digital roadmap in coordination with the cross-functional teammates and external partners. Help to identify, develop, and coach Industry 4.0 regional champions. Advise and influence leadership and operations on technical solutions, standard integration methodologies and the alignment of business and technology. Research emerging digital manufacturing technologies to address critical business and customer challenges. Discover, experiment, lead, coordinate and deliver digital initiatives across facilities globally. Champion change and look to improve processes by systematizing simplicity, agility, and sensible risk taking. Help to define Novelis's Plant of the Future benefits, savings, and the measure process. Measure and track site, regional, global results linked to Plant of Future deployment and tools. Responsible for the deployment and continuous improvement of portfolio and project management and accelerated continuous improvement practices aligned with transformation goals. Develop, implement, and continuously improve the structure and processes, related to Digital Manufacturing transformation ensuring a clear path forward. Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks across projects, work streams and programs. Work with key stakeholders to develop communication strategy, approach, and plan; including, but not limited to content guidelines and delivery cadence. Change Management:

What You Need To Succeed Bachelor's degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline/equivalent). MBA or related advanced degree preferred. 15
years of experience leading innovation and strategic IT projects. 7
years of experience implementing large, complex projects in a corporate environment. 5
years of experience managing a team of direct reports. 5
years manufacturing experience - metal industry preferred Leadership experience in digital strategy deployment and use of emerging technologies in world class manufacturing facilities. Demonstrated ability to develop and apply information-driven approaches to solve critical business challenges to realize business value. Strategic thinker balancing innovation, continuous improvement, thought leadership best practices with the ability to execute and realize business value. Ability to flawless collaborate with multiple stakeholders to lead multiple strategic initiatives under time and resource constraints, as well as the ability to deliver in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Ability to operate and communicate at the strategic level yet focus on details to drive successful execution and deliver value. Demonstrated ability to lead teams across the operations ecosystem within a complex, global matrixed organization and make decisions based on key business priorities. Ability to decompose problems/opportunities and make decisions when problems or solutions are not clearly defined. Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a technical and business capacity. Proven success delivering projects in Agile, Waterfall or SDLC environments. Demonstrated proficiency in manufacturing stack systems (reference architecture for L0-L5 systems) High ability to drive strategic vision. Excellent analytical skills Proven ability to effectively manage multiple large-scale, high-risk projects across a portfolio. Strong facilitation skills and ability to communicate effectively with the business to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Executive leadership and stakeholder communication. Understanding of various technologies including applications and databases. Proven ability to build/influence teams, mentor, and coach while proactively recognize and remove obstacles on behalf of the teams.
Salary Range:
$250K -- $500K+
Minimum Qualification
Supply Chain & LogisticsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
