Compliance Paralegal

Position Overview The Novelis Legal team is seeking a Compliance Paralegal. The person in this role will report to the Assistant General Counsel - Compliance & Governance). The ideal candidate will be responsible for program administration, project management and training administration as it relates to Corporate Compliance. This role will provide day to day support of the global compliance program, covering such areas as antitrust, anti-corruption, data privacy, trade sanctions, export controls and ethics. #LI-Hybrid#LI-GP1 Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
Support Compliance Counsel in preparing and updating official guidance, FAQs and visual summaries. Ensure intranet pages are updated with current policies. Assist Compliance Counsel in responding to KYC requests and customer questionnaires. Support regional legal counsel in other countries with policy questions. Coordinate with other functional teams, including Human Resources and Internal Audit on policy questions. Perform legal research on regulatory developments in the US and abroad. Research and recommend software applications to enable and upgrade compliance systems. Establish project timelines, organize committee meeting calendars, track completion of tasks, communicate with stakeholders as necessary to provide updates, produce status reports, compile monthly and quarterly reports, keep organizational charts up to date. Assist Compliance Counsel in designing training on multiple platforms. Maintain global Legal Compliance training calendar and coordinate training delivery globally; track training completion. Assist Compliance Counsel in developing Compliance communication tools and arranging awareness campaigns. Manage correspondence, maintain legal files, monitor Compliance mailbox, maintain Compliance intranet page in accordance with content and branding standards. Coordinate with Legal Operations personnel on budget for Compliance activities, arrange and manage travel for attorneys, prepare expense reports and related documentation. Minimum

Bachelor's degree 5

Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business Project ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
