com/products/management-and-governanceWe are seeking a Software Development Manager to lead the Business Service Management (BSM) Connector solutions and plugin integrations that enable sellers and buyers to sell, procure, entitle, deploy and manage AWS Marketplace software and data at the speed of cloud.
As a Software Development Manager, You will be leading initiatives to get better visibility into performance of systems integrations and drive innovation and process improvements.
You will also be responsible for working closely with other managers of software development teams within Amazon to lead changes through their systems.
This role is strategic as well as hands-on, overseeing the development of scalable technical solution integrations to third party platforms leveraging business service management frameworks and identifying how to empower DevOps, infrastructure and engineering, and Cloud FinOps in an agile culture.
The system integrations are complex and there are huge opportunities to work at all levels from a set of robust platform services, to system level pieces and everything in between.
You should be somebody who is customer-centric, enjoys working on complex system software, and is passionate about building quality software as well as achieving operational excellence.
A commitment to teamwork, hustle, and great communication skills (to both business and technical partners) are essential.
This is a role for a software development manager, with a business owner mindset that does not shy away from thinking big.
A strong bias for action with strategic intent mindset is needed to dive deep, gain customer trust, and deliver results.
You will oversee the development plan, build, test, and execute our feature set, and you will own the overall vision, culture, and direction of BSM solutions.

o Create, prioritize, communicate, manage, and execute road-maps, project plans, and commitments o Report on status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management o Work closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach o Foster culture of continuous engineering improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics o Hire, coach, and mentor individuals; build a strong cross-functional organization o Partner with a diverse customer base to understand requirements, priorities, and processes o Propose and implement new projects or recommend system improvements.
