Our group is responsible for building software and services that help customers run and scale their containerized applications.
The Amazon Linux, Containers and Open-source team is responsible for AWS Linux and Bottlerocket distributions to ensure our customers have a secure and high-quality environment for their Linux and Container applications.
Amazon Linux Security is responsible for ensuring that all Amazon Linux operating systems remain security.

Key job responsibilitiesThis role will be responsible for working closely with multiple teams focused on deploying and maintaining security tooling, that is essential to improving the security posture of our Linux operating systems.
This includes finding new ways to improve operations and deploying security solutions to solve complex challenges for our customers.
About the teamSecurity is the #1 concern our customers have when moving to the cloud.
It is the mission of this team to keep Amazon Linux Operating Systems secure.
We are dedicated to identifying, evaluating, and driving visibility into our Linux Operating Systems that our customers need.
This includes building new services that track our evaluation of security issues, verifying fixes are available, and reporting the current state on the Amazon Linux Advisory Service website.
We work closely with our open-source partners and push security features and updates into our upstream communities to keep our customers safe beyond our Operating Systems.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
