Responsibilities Primary Responsibility:
Supports Financial Planning & Analysis Manager and transportation operations team with analyzing and summarizing financial and non-financial data to help drive decisions, performs analyses on different scenario's and helps to draw conclusions, and prepares appropriate and relevant reports and presentations to upper management. Primary focus will be on the domestic transportation segment.
Essential Functions:
o Assist Financial Planning & Analysis Manager with forecast, annual operating budget for facilities within region including loading data to the Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) system and compiling final product into presentation format o Assist in the month end close process, variance explanations, researching and reviewing financial results for transportation business o Serve as a critical resource on the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team for data collection, analysis, and presentation o Serve as key business partner to transportation operation directors by assisting in operational ad hoc analysis to drive decision making. o Become an expert with the Business Planning and Consolidation system (BPC) o Assist in consolidating business commentary and results into key themes o Assist in the preparation of management reports summarizing operational results for the period, including both financial and non-financial data o Assist in developing slides for executive presentations o Collaborate with Corporate Finance team to drive value add projects, strategic initiatives and business cases o Partner with other functional departments on assigned projects (i.e., Customer Profitability Analysis, KPI's, etc.) o Other special projects and duties as assigned Qualifications Qualifications &
Experience:
o BS Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Economics and 5-7 years of relevant financial analyst experience. o Previous exposure to Operations, Manufacturing, Transportation, or Warehousing industries is preferred. o High level of commitment and detail orientation; comfort with expectations for ramping up quickly and working extra hours to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality o Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. o Previous demonstrated experience with financial and business intelligence systems. Demonstrated knowledge and experience with SAP and SAP-BPC is preferred. o Demonstrated knowledge of budget and reporting systems such as HYPERION, ESSBASE, Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC), SAP Analytics Cloud, Salesforce, Tableau, etc. Knowledge & Employment Standards:
o Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills sufficient to prepare financial documents, reports, and presentations. o Demonstrated ability to work on teams exemplified by implemented results or change to processes. o Self-starter with demonstrated ability to identify and solve problems in a fast-paced environment where deadlines and scopes may change regularly while maintaining accuracy. $80K -- $100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
