Summary:
Under general supervision, the Property and Casualty Complaints Analyst reviews for compliance with the rules, regulations, laws in determining eligibility for complaints and monitors compliance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and
Responsibilities:
Examines property and casualty consumer inquiries of non-compliance made against insurance companies, agents and other entities licensed by the Office of Commissioner of Insurance and Safety Fire.
Performs a review, researches regulatory requirements, collects, and verifies documentation.
Gathers and organizes investigative materials and information and analyze the material to draw conclusions and provide recommendations for the resolution of complaints and issues.
Communicates effectively with consumers and industry professionals to resolve complaints.
Reports rules, regulations, or law violations to appropriate boards or agencies.
Analyzes issues and develops and reports recommendations for resolution.
Reviews inquiries daily and request additional documentation from complainant as needed.
Conducts follow-up processing (i.
e.
referral to Enforcement and Fraud Unit).
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university OR Associate's degree from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR Three years of related experience.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
