LOCATION:
This position is onsite, office-based in Atlanta, GA (hybrid model - 3 days remote / 2 days in office- Tuesday & Wednesday) JOB SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Senior Vice President, Affiliate Relations & CEO Search, the National Director, Affiliate Relations supports the strategy and execution of Affiliate Relations and department-wide and enterprise-wide key priorities and strategies through creating processes, driving collaboration, and ensuring delivery.
The National Director, Affiliate Relations This role is also responsible for providing limited support and serving as a thought partner to the Senior Vice President, Affiliate Relations & CEO Search and other organization leaders.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Affiliate Relations In collaboration with the Senior Vice President, Affiliate Relations & CEO Search, the National Director, Affiliate Relations is responsible for leading the development of enterprise-wide systems and projects that evaluate the health of the federated model and relationship health between Boys & Girls Clubs of America and local affiliate organizations Represent the perspective of Affiliate Relations in organizational planning meetings, providing perspective on how key initiatives and strategies will impact the federated model Partner with the office of Chief Operations Officer and Strategic Alignment teams to strengthen the governance structure of Boys & Girls Clubs, including the National Area Council Committee and the efficacy of local Area Councils Support the development of processes that facilitate effective alignment of Affiliate Relations with BGCA's service delivery model Align capital and resources necessary to support local Clubs in their activation of BGCA membership requirements Lead the process of identifying and aligning indicators of health of federated model, i.

, pass-through, recognition awards, taskforce and committee service, etc.
In partnership with internal and external marketing and communications teams, help to develop and lead communications and engagement strategy for Affiliate Relations-led work Develop and oversee accountability systems and standard operating procedures that facilitate alignment, collaboration, and efficiencies for field-facing initiatives Develop internal and external learning opportunities and education strategy for Boys & Girls Clubs of America strategic priorities and initiatives, as well as support execution of national learning events In collaboration with the Senior Vice President, Affiliate Relations & CEO Search, plan and implement the annual National Conference Project Management and Process Improvement Act as a thought partner to the Senior Vice President, Affiliate Relations and assist the SVP in facilitating effective and efficient decision-making Responsible for strategic project management at the highest level by providing leadership and effective management for project completion Provide guidance and support on the tracking system to align Affiliate Relations' priorities with the organization's performance measures, goals, and metrics Develop mechanisms that track data and provide aggregates to senior leadership team, enabling data-informed decision making Communication Serve as one of the primary liaisons with key Movement stakeholder groups, including but not limited to the National Area Council Committee, the Affiliate Membership Taskforce, The Professional Association, and select committees of the National Board of Governors In partnership with senior leaders, ensures the timely preparation of board and committee reports Additional Responsibilities Demonstrate BGCA mission driven I CARE values and integrate these beliefs into our environment and ways of work Adhere to organizational policies and procedures as described in BGCA's Employee Handbook, Ethics Policy and elsewhere
Qualifications:
Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or graduate degree preferred Minimum of ten years' experience in related field.
