Applicants should have strong organizational skills, be comfortable working with a wide variety of chemicals and stand for long periods of time.
Interested candidates should have at least 2 years of cleaning experience and a high school diploma.
Responsibilities:
Use cleaning equipment such as:
vacuum cleaners, steam mops, and carpet cleaners.
Clean all types of surfaces.
Clean in a variety of settings (e.
g.
residential and commercial).
Read work orders to learn about the jobs.
Use ladder to reach higher places.
Follow work schedules.
Follow proper safety precautions.
Learn about the proper use of cleaning equipment and when to use it (e.
g.
vacuum cleaners are only used on carpeted floors).
Learn how to correctly clean different types of surfaces.
Communicate with supervisors and co-workers to determine what tasks need to be performed.
Ensure that all equipment is working properly before leaving the shift or job site.
Learn about the company's insurance policy and other policies that affect their job.
Be prepared for emergencies (e.
g.
natural disasters).
