Qualifications:
Minimum of five experience as a successful family law attorney with litigation, case management, and mediation.

Ability to delegate and manage work of paralegals and legal assistants.
Good communication with staff members, follow-up and leadership.
Strong technology skills, experience with case management systems, Excellent writing, proofreading, and legal analysis skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Able to solve client problems and help develop less experienced associates and team members.
Current and update knowledge of case law, statutes, trends and changes in the Georgia law.
Responsibilities:
Develop, manage, and execute the case strategy.
Litigate cases applying the rules of evidence and knowledge of the client, case, and family law statutes and case law.
Understands how to the case and highlight evidence that helps us and negate evidence that does not.
Work with team of excellent paralegals and support staff to move the case forward, with diverse backgrounds and diverse personalities.
Mediate cases that are appropriate for settlement and recognize cases ripe for informal settlement and work with opposing counsels to reach settlements.
Draft all family law documents from child support worksheets, domestic relations financial affidavit, parenting plans, settlement agreements to final orders.
(Admin staff also provide support, but you have to understand the details, requirements, and be able to draft the documents yourself and approve the work.
) Maintain billable hour requirement, tracking work performed for clients and all non-billable work.
All of our employees must be trainable, even if you have a decade of experience.
You must have an open mind and are eager to keep learning and growing.
