The Quality Assurance associate is responsible for continuous improvement and driving top tier quality control.
Works with Operations teams reviewing operational requirements and ensure all adherence to all standard operating procedures, focus on key performance indictors and ensure accurate and timely measure of those metrics, drive continuous improvement culture and initiatives by supporting operations in pursuit of all cost and service goals, complete multiple audit functions, including, but not limited to, container audits, package audits, and facility operations audits.
The goal is to document, measure, and drive the behaviors to support service excellence.
The Quality Assurance Lead will report directly to the local Quality Assurance Supervisor.
The position will require cross-functional interaction with departments such as transportation, client success, and operations.
You will:
Check that facilities are completing tasks based on Standard Operating Procedures Identify process opportunities to increase productivity and reduce processing failures to promote high quality processing Work with Quality Supervisor to ensure the SOPs are accurate and processes are running as designed and identify improvement opportunities Update and maintain audit forms and processes Complete Quality Assurance Audits Complete sampling and audits to support quality control reporting Scale Tests Automated Scale Tests Container Audits - missorts and scan rates Parcel Sampling New Client Testing Performs tests for new clients and reports back issues Monitors and oversees new client parcels Provide feedback to Operations Manager or Supervisor for employee reviews.
Constructively observe associate task performance and provides feedback on a regular basis.
Oversee package exceptions and final resolution Other duties as assigned.
Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
Helps ensure time goals and productivity goals consistently met for the department.

Documented leadership experience The ability to read and follow directions The ability to work in a high paced environment The ability to work a flexible work schedule Familiarity with Word, Excel, Email, and WMS interface Excellent organizational skills Strong analytical skills and structured problem solving skills.
Th ability to identify issues and stand up for the right method The ability to be a team player Strong Communication Skills The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The ability to understand and follow safety and other operational directions in English, or translated from English, irrespective of your native language? Preferred:
Experience within the logistics or parcel shipping industry preferred Experience in a quality assurance role preferred Previous experience in a lead position; or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education or experience strongly preferred.
