Job Description:
Forward is seeking a Manager, Real Estate, that will be a key to the company's continued growth.
They will work with senior leaders to build and execute both short and long-term strategies.
They will work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the real estate needs are being achieved through all phases of the real estate cycle including evaluating and securing new locations, negotiating leases, and managing the facility from conceptualization to disposition.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
Assist Director in market evaluation, site selection and negotiation of new locations Evaluate economic, demographic, and other market data to identify and prioritize key markets Analyze facility economics to ensure sites meet return requirements; generate pro forma analysis in partnership with Finance Manage and maintain broker, developer, and vendor relationships Independently negotiate and draft complex lease and legal agreements Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align and lead the real estate strategy including lease terminations, consolidations, expansions, renewals, and relocations Evaluate and manage zoning and licensing requirements per authority Manage property standards and capital projects Effectively communicate expectations, requirements, and status of projects to key business partners - both internal and external Evaluate, develop, and implement standard real estate processes and procedures Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant areas of study (Business, Real Estate, Economics, Finance) or equivalent experience and evidence of exceptional ability Minimum of five (5) years real estate experience across multiple real estate disciplines including leasing, management, acquisitions, and dispositions Demonstrated negotiation skills Thorough understanding of real estate legal and financial terms Ambitious standards and keen attention to detail Demonstrated record of accomplishment of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Ability to travel up to 50% Skills:
