Senior Physician Compensation Analyst (HYBRID)

Description This is a hybrid role, with some remote work and some onsite in Atlanta.
JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the development, analysis and implementation of physician compensation plans in support of Piedmont Healthcare Physician Enterprise employed providers.
In conjunction with the department leader, develops, reviews, documents and implements standard policies, procedures and processes across the health system.
Provides training, communication support and consultative services regarding best practices and market competitive data.
Reviews and approves provider compensation for new hires to ensure compliance with Piedmont Healthcare's compensation philosophy and all current federal, state and local regulations, including Stark Law and AKS.
KEY
Responsibilities:
1.
Conducts comprehensive and complex analysis related to physician compensation, productivity, fair market value and commercial reasonableness, applying benchmark data and other proven valuation techniques to achieve desired results.
2.
Provides guidance and recommendations regarding physician compensation to key stakeholders.
3.
Collaborates closely with external consultants and valuation firms on data gathering and analysis for fair market value and commercial reasonableness reviews.
4.
Manages work pertaining to the Physician Compensation Workgroup, Physician Compensation Review Committee, physician compensation communications, payroll issues, and routine and non-routine compensation issues.
5.
In conjunction with the department leader, establishes processes and procedures for the governance and administration of physician compensation to achieve organizational objectives, regulatory compliance and drive a competitive position in the marketplace.
6.
In conjunction with the department leader, responsible for the documentation of all provider compensation plans and procedures, and ensuring compensation is within the approved provider compensation philosophy.
Works with legal, operational stakeholders, and external consultants to ensure provider compensation is compliant with all state and federal regulatory requirements.
7.
Leads participation in and the maintenance of provider compensation and production surveys.
8.
Develops and implements tools and processes to support physicians and operational leaders in their understanding of physician compensation.
9.
Serve as a subject matter expert to key internal stakeholders and members of the physician compensation team on industry best practices related to physician compensation.
10.
May provide leadership to analysts responsible for physician compensation functions.
11.
Leads and/or works on special projects.
12.
Creates custom and ad hoc reports to meet the information needs internal stakeholders across departments.
13.
Performs Other duties as assigned.
Requirements MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with course emphasis in BusinessAdministration, Finance or a closely related field required.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Five (5) years of professional work experience in compensation analysis with preference given to candidates' experiences centered on provider or physician compensation.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
None.
ADDITIONAL
Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred.
Experience working in a large healthcare system, multi-specialty medical group, or consulting firm with a focus on provider compensation.
Previous experience with physician compensation strategy and design preferred.
Understanding of regulatory environment around provider compensation.
Advanced reporting and analytical skills, including the ability to use databases to analyze and manipulatedata and utilize, understand and communicate statistics.
Excellent customer service, written and oral communication skills, including the ability to partner withoperating unit leaders and/or service line system leadership to creatively solve problems.
Must have the ability to use technical expertise and problem-solving skills to guide organizationaldecisions and people with the purpose of reaching optimal outcomes.
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities with attention to detail in a fast-moving environment.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
