Quality Control Technician - Solar

QC SOLAR TECHNICIANQuality control personnel are responsible for ensuring that products and services meet the established standards set by the company.
Duties include maintaining overall quality control of the construction on solar sites.
A QC technician will consistently adhere to reliability, performance, and customer expectation.
Inspecting solar construction procedures and processes is part of the job with the obligation to report and document findings.
Key Responsibilities Create quality control measurements to track improvement in products Execute quality improvement testing and activities Develop quality assurance standards and company processes Adhere to industry quality and safety standards Ensure products meet customer expectations and demand Create reports documenting errors and issues for fixing Work closely with the operations team to improve existing procedures Maintain standards for reliability and performance of production Qualifications Travel 90% or more will be required 1-3 years of experience working in Quality Control is required Experience in the solar field preferred Experience with GameChange and Nexttracker solar systems is preferred Working knowledge of products and services In-depth understanding of industry standards and company policies Good customer focus Sharp attention to detail Excellent verbal/written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Meticulous and diligent attributes Great team player with the ability to work with minimal supervision Able to stand and walk around for long hours at a time Physical Requirements Ability to walk and perform site inspections 70% of the day Lifting up to 35 lbs.
Perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, standing, and walking significant distances Visual ability (20/20 corrected or uncorrected) to observe and detect signs of danger Recommended Skills Analytical Attention To Detail Communication Construction Hardworking And Dedicated Measurement And Metrology Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
