Overview:
The Chick-fil-A Tax Department is responsible for tax compliance, technology, special projects, research, and audit defense functions for independently owned franchised restaurants and corporate activities.
We exist to provide tax planning, regulatory reporting and consulting to stakeholders, governments, external auditors and business leaders.

Primary responsibilities for this role include supporting the Tax Departments Property Tax function by performing in-house appraisals and subsequently representing Chick-fil-A, Inc.
and our franchisees before local government jurisdictions.
This role requires knowledge of property tax valuation and an ability to effectively present and persuade on a regular basis.
This role will often present to local appraisers, boards of equalization, hearing officers, consultants, and attorneys.

Research broad real estate market data and compile appeal reports to present to 3rd party government officials Represent Chick-fil-A in local and state level property tax disputes Research and estimate new restaurant property tax obligations Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to establish responsibilities regarding property tax appeals Communicate with key stakeholders including restaurant franchisees, business consultants, and restaurant accountants.
Assist with personal property rendition cycle by supplying and interpreting asset data and influence tax treatment Minimum
