Manager is looking for a brilliant technical writer to help support documentation of technical systems, standard operating procedures, processes, sharepoint site, and deliverables for our Data Management teams.
Your technical system administration and data management background will enable you to work in close partnership with data and technical support teams.
You must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
To succeed in this role, you must be a fearless generalist with a strong technical background.
You will document, client journey maps, internal procedures, and other deliverables as required Initial/Primary Project Names Support for EDGE Data Tools and Governance Training Must have skills
Ability to write in clear and concise manner and to be able to convey information appropriately for a variety of audiences.

Ability to quickly interview SMEs to gather key information.
Must possess good technical knowledge and understand how to work with data and technical teams.

Needs to know his or her way around computer systems.
Specific tool knowledge, such as Adobe FrameMaker, MS Word, MadCap Flare, RoboHelp.

Needs to know how to ask questions and know who the best person is to approach and have a feel for the varying personalities and preferences of the people the subject matter experts, or SMEs in order to know how best to approach them.

Requires strong listening skills to capture the information necessary and to know which follow-up questions need to be answered.

An appreciation for the visual presentation including graphics and formatting as well as illustration skills is critical skills needed for being successful in this role.
Plus/nice to have skills - Basic knowledge of Data Management, Data Governance, or Data Risk.
Prior Experience/ Skills Needed - Good understanding of how to synthesize complex data concepts into simple business stories, experience in Training (Instructor Led and Virtual) and Instructional Design skills required) - Tools:
Strong Powerpoint skills, Robohelp, Adobe Illustrator, Sharepoint, Captivate, Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and writing various types of user documentation, including how-to guides, references, manuals, cheat sheets, or instructions.
- Development of Enterprise Standard Rollout Plans (similar to product announcements) for new policies, process, and procedures.
- Execute basic instructional design activities required to build & structure content for online training modules - Build creative content rich meeting material for Executive and Senior leaders in support of monthly committee meetings - Create and Maintain Client and Data Journey map showing end-to-end processes using graphical tools such as Captivate, Powerpoint, or Visio - Development of Standard Templates and Processes across the Enterprise Data Management Execution team - Explain data related and technical ideas in simple language - Create user documentation for a variety of material, including how-to guides, and instruction manuals - Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson - Prepare charts, graphs, or forms to go along with rough drafts - Write clear and concise policies and procedures - Create table of contents and cite sources - Submit copies to managers for feedback - Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling - Follow a life cycle called document development life cycle - Release the document following final approval - Conduct online tutorials - Provide updates and different editions as necessary.

- Data management, data governance, Big Data experience are all a plus! - Technology background is a big plus as well! - Looking for Senior Technical Writer who will build content for their online training portal.
- Needs to be able to write clear and concisely.
- Looking for a candidate that works independently, is fairly aggressive and a go-getter.
- MS Office, PowerPoint (super PP user,) SharePoint experience is required.
- Banking and Financial background is great but working in any type of corporate environment where they've used date would be fine.
