Meaningful Work From Day OnePartners regularly and effectively with regional leadership, USA&C Emerging Brands Marketing Teams, Regional Commercial Finance, IBP Stakeholders, Cluster and State Commercial leadership, Regional Marketing, Brand AdvocacyWhat You Can ExpectCommercial Leadership (50%) Shared P&L Responsibility - Serves as a key regional leader partnering with regional and cluster leadership to deliver fiscal plan for Emerging Brand Portfolio Accountable for delivering region performance on Emerging Brands.
Brand responsibility includes:
Diplomatico Rums, Gin Mare, Fords Gin, Coopers' Craft, King of Kentucky, Slane, BenRiach, Glendronach, Glenglassaugh, Finlandia, and Chambord Conductions Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) with USA&C Emerging Brands Leadership Team, sharing key insights and opportunities with regional leadership Collaborates with regional team to create and execute key programs to support superior distributor execution of brand initiatives Provides insights, opportunities and mitigation plans to the Emerging Brands Leadership team for respective region, helping ensure fiscal commercial plan delivery.
Partners with National Accounts to create and drive execution of national and regional Emerging Brands account programs for on and off premise Working with Market Managers, Emerging Brands, establishes account universe and market plan including KPIs, distributor pricing/incentives/programming, and brand development plan (e.
g.
PR) Develops any necessary remedial plans with Emerging Brands Market Managers, B-F State/General Managers, and relevant distributor sales leadership Participates in ongoing planning meetings with internal and external stakeholders as required Partners with Finance and State leadership for the resource allocation and budget process for Emerging Brands Actively participates on assigned regional leadership team meetings Participates and assists in preparation for TPS meetings in key markets for assigned brands Marketing Leadership (25%) Serves as key partner to Emerging Brands Marketing and Regional Marketing leadership, helping support the creation and execution of key programs and trade/consumer initiatives throughout the region Serves as partner to Trade Advocacy Team on the development and execution of key KPIs within Trade Advocacy universe, noting a key deliverable is to support commercial KPIs for respective brands within a cluster.
Provides partnership and leadership for agency resources in collaboration with cluster and state level leadership teams.
Partners closely with Emerging Brands and Regional Marketing to ensure prioritization takes place on key programs and initiatives for the region Partners with Emerging Brands Marketing Manager to provide localized programs that can be shared nationally and used across the USA & Canada division Team Leadership & Development (25%) Partners with matrix manager to set goals and hold team members accountable Conducts regular alignment meetings with State and General Managers to ensure expectations for direct reports' are clear and agreed upon Partner with local state managers to hire, train and develop a team of B-F Emerging Brands Market Managers to deliver the plan within target account universe Establishes a plan to continually train distributor/agency personnel responsible for representing B-F Emerging Brands in assigned metro markets With market visits, sets clear objectives in advance and proper recap and follow up post visit, and ensuring this information is shared appropriately with key stakeholders Serves as B-F commercial team segment expert and coordinates training activities in assigned regions upon request What You Bring to the Table Bachelor's degree and 7-9 years sales experience or 10 plus years relevant sales experience Strong commercial acumen with experience managing geographic or brand P&Ls Demonstrated ability to build relationships and maintain effective working relationships with distributors, accounts, and all internal stakeholders Demonstrated people leadership experience Team player:
Able to put the needs of the overall Brown-Forman business above the specific needs of the territory or team.
Seeks out opportunities to collaborate with leaders in other channels and territories.
