_ Job Description The person filling this position will be part of our Operations Support Team and will work collaboratively with both managers and team members to drive the efficiency of the warehouse operation.
The role is responsible to ensure that product is stored, replenished and picked in the most appropriate warehouse area.
The Warehouse Profiling & Slotting Analyst defines, develops, and manages policies and procedures, process flows and tools to boost the productivity of all warehouse functions; Implements reporting and analysis of warehouse labor, slotting, capacity and customer delivery data.
Tasks &
Responsibilities:

Owner of the storage, replenishment and picking strategy in the facility
Regularly performs health-checks to ensure product is stored, replenished, and picked in the right warehouse area
Utilizes and further develops existing data warehouse tools for regular and ad hoc data analysis
Presents findings in easy-to-consume formatting, presents fact-based recommendations to leadership, builds what-if models, and partners with leadership to monitor progress against desired business outcomes
Reviews replenishment and picking strategies and recommends suitable changes to leadership.

Maintains the WMS replenishment configuration in accordance to defined stock keeping strategy and to achieve identified improvements
Assesses additional storage needs as required based on capacity analysis
Supports planning and execution of day to day slotting process and other operational challenges
Aids in the planning and documentation of both functional and technical business requirements needed to create improved and sustainable slotting processes Qualifications Basic
Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Industrial or Computer Engineering, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Analytics or Statistics
3
years of experience with warehouse/distribution center processes, layouts, systems, designs
3
years of experience in any of the following warehouse management systems:
JDA, Red Prairie, BlueYonder, SAP WM (Key-User / Super User Level Skills)
3
years of experience in analytics platforms (i.
e.
Tableau, Power BI, MS Access) and SQLPreferred
Qualifications:

Experience in gathering profiling data such as:
velocities, seasonal curves, inbound frequencies, and picking frequencies
Skills or abilities:
Problem solving, communication, time management, and multi-tasking skills
Ability and proficiency with Microsoft Office products
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
Ability to write policies, procedures, and executive summaries
