Performs and interprets laboratory tests in the Clinical Laboratory for the diagnosis and care of neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
REQUIRED Minimum requirements - Have earned a high school diploma or equivalent and have documentation of training, appropriate for the testing performed.
Additional requirements are needed for moderate and high complexity testing, per CLIA regulation 42 CFR 493.
Ability to implement and perform clinical laboratory procedures according to proper standards and regulations.
All applicants must submit to and pass a Color-Acuity screening Test.
Applicants must have completed (or be eligible for) an appropriate certification examination.
Acceptable certifying agencies include:
ASCP, NCA, AMT, AAB, HHS (HEW) 8.
Certification-eligible applicants must pass examination within eighteen (18) months after school graduation, or after moving to the state of Georgia.
PREFERREDExperience in a Clinical Laboratory Setting Recommended Skills Medical Laboratory Certified Landscape Irrigation Auditor Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
