Job DescriptionAbout the roleWe are looking for someone with demonstrated demand planning expertise, who is not only experienced in getting results, but also in embedding demand planning best practices to improve forecast accuracy.
As a Manager of demand planning, you will be responsible for all demand forecasting activities in season and preseason.
To succeed in this role, you should be highly analytical, expert in excel, with an aptitude for precision and must possess excellent communication skills.
An interest and affinity for leading systems evolution projects is desirable.
This role is based in our Atlanta headquarters and reports into the Sr Director of Demand Planning What you'll do Lead a team of demand planners to deliver plans for their assigned set of customers.
Participates in goal setting and is an active leader in forecast accuracy improvement.
Foster a climate of trust and respect with cross functional partners; respond effectively and efficiently to requests.
Take a one team approach to collaborate and accomplish goals for the business.
Partner cross-functionally to deliver successful end-to-end demand forecasts.
Key partner to Sales and Supply to deliver a highly reliable monthly forecast.
Interpret business drivers that affect forecast/supply chain performance and communicates the impact.
Serves as subject Matter expert for monthly S&OP meetings.
Maintain bottom-up pre-season plans and in-season forecasts at collection, category, class and style level Maintain SKU level market/channel/DC/critical account forecasts in the forecasting platform as part of a monthly cycle Partner with sales, product team, supply, and logistics in the demand review process in support of S&OP.
Drive monthly, quarterly and seasonal hindsight analysis to highlight opportunities for future seasons.
Identify product opportunities and risks down to the size level.
Act as a thought partner and independently identify opportunity for process improvement effectively managing change QualificationsWe require 3
years of leading the demand modeling & shaping Successful track record of developing reliable forecasts that incorporate baseline modeling, event lift, pricing elasticity, new product launches, retailer insights, and competitive activities.
Strategic leader and critical thinker who makes analytical and data-driven decisions Expert excel skills required Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, attention to accuracy & ability to reconcile various data elements.
