Job Description:
This position is responsible for developing new and providing system maintenance and enhancements for the Special Projects Team.
The Special Projects team consists of 6 applications that include the Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT), Uniform Accounting System (UAS), Random Moment Sampling System (RMSS), Debt Setoff (DSO) programs, (EAP) Energy Assistance Program, and the New Hire (W-4) systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Design, develop, and maintain Mainframe COBOL & JCL to meet support and/or project requirements.
Interface with business and IT teams to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.
Work with IT support teams (ex.
DBA's) to ensure support and project requirements are developed andsuccessfully implementedDevelop and execute unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
Responsible for full System Development Life CycleWork with business team to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testingParticipate in on-call production supportAssist with the MF conversion to NTTData-AWSRequired Job
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related area10 years of mainframe Development background in design, analysis, and coding:
COBOL (CICS and Batch), JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, TSO, CHANGEMAN, AWSIT technical background & mainframe programming experienceExperience in all components of software delivery with concentration in requirements, design anddevelopment.
Experience with NTTData-AWS technologies a plusAbility to think analyticallyAbility to work independently Recommended Skills Business Requirements Customer Information Control System (Cics) Ibm Db2 Information Technology Job Control Language (Jcl) Maintenance Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
