Our Atlanta branch is looking for a new National IS Systems Specialist to join our Contract Logistics team.
YOUR ROLEReporting to the Regional IS Manager you will ensure the proper functioning of CL IS solutions for implementation and ongoing projects with systems configuration, escalation path, system and data quality assurance, systems performance reporting, and training of the Main users & warehouse management lead personnel to achieve CL IS goals.
You will be responsible for training colleagues; and for the support and administration of the computer systems our CL warehouse operations use.
This includes Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transport Management Systems (TMS), Business Intelligence applications, Integration, Voice or Light Guided Picking systems and PCIP/Centiro.
In addition to having a good oversight of general system use, the CL IS Specialist will have in-depth knowledge in a system or process.
You will work with CL Ops, IS national, regional, and corporate teams.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for training the trainer approach and support WMS users and operations on WMS/TMS-related topics and attached applications.
You will participate in new customer implementations including configuration, testing of applications, and go-live support.
Help implement EDI Mapping and data flow between Kuehne and Nagel & Customer.
You will produce working instructions for IS/IT and help create training documentation.
You will participate in joint continuous improvement programs with operations and quality and compliance audits.
System validation - ensure that processes are aligned with customer requirements.
As part of the escalation path, monitoring of incident reporting queues (RT) including after-hours support on a rotation basis for WMS/TMS and BI.
Release management - perform testing for software release installation updates to the WMS and other applications.
Setup of WMS/TMS user logins and profiles.
Be the IS representative to the client and operation.
Specialist contact for at least one system or process within the CL IS Portfolio.

National and international travel in the execution of local and regional customer implementations.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES 3 years experience with 3PL products including warehouse management systems, transportation, and order management systems or ERP.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics, Computer Science, or a similar degree.
