Manages patient care of an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy and policies of the appropriate division.

Position RequirementsREQUIRED:
1.
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
2.
Demonstrated proficiency in skills applicable to designated area within probationary period.
3.
Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
4.
Operating Room:
Prior Operating Room experience or completion of a course in Operating Room nursing.
5.
Peri-Operative Unit:
Prior pre-operative, post-operative, ICU experience, or completion of a course in Peri-Anesthesia Care nursing program.
Current ACLS Certification required.
PREFERRED:
1.
National certification in specialty area.
2.
Member of professional organization (i.
e.
ASORN, AORN, ASPAN) 3.
