PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES A.
RADIOLOGY Inserts intravenous lines in preparation for radiologic studies.
Performs imaging for myelograms and therapeutic chemotherapy, venograms, arthrograms, and other studies requiring an intravenous or subdural injection of contrast medium.
May assist physician with biopsy and aspiration procedures, practicing sterile technique as required.
Sets up sterile trays with all supplies and instruments required for procedures.
Provides on-call support for Operating Room and GI Lab as scheduled.
Provides assistance with the transportation of patients to and from the Emergency Room and In-Patient areas.
Performs portable x-ray imaging as ordered.
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES In addition to the duties listed above, all Registered Radiologic Technologists will be required to perform the following:
Regularly performs the duties and responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologists.
Performs routine radiographic examinations in accordance with specific operating instructions and safety standards.
Determines proper technical factors and adjusts radiographic equipment accordingly.
Assesses patient condition throughout the procedure and observe for adverse reactions.
Recognizes and responds to emergency situations according to departmental procedures.
Practices proper safety techniques in accordance with hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Immediately reports any mechanical or electrical equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or employee/patient/visitor injury-accident to the manager.
Other duties as assigned by supervision.
Position Requirements KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
Applicants must have at least two (2) years of current experience post-residency/new graduate orientation in the clinical areas in which they will be working.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Ability to deal tactfully and pleasantly with various types of patients, visitors, physicians, and other personnel.
Certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
Must meet competency level requirements for the Choice
Local Program.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED Prior experience in diagnostic radiology.
A minimum of one (1) year of travel experience with an external or internal agency program (excluding float pools).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
