Job Description The main purpose of the Rooms Operations Coordinator is to provide support in daily operations and administrative duties related with Rooms Division.
Responsibilities o To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in policies and procedures.
o Prepare VIP, SG & Service Recovery amenities and Welcome note cards.
o Prepare reports and meeting minutes for Issue Prevention and Rooms meeting.
o To be familiar with guest scenarios.
o To be familiar with all technical equipment and software related to the Front Desk.
o Be familiar with Opera, Access, Ving Card, GoConcierge, and Synergy.
o Be aware of business levels, arrival and departure patterns.
o Review and update turndown variance reports, kids turndown, SG Wifi routing.
o To be familiar with all hotel facilities.
o Must have complete understanding of hotel layout and room type offerings.
o Review and prepare follow through for daily shift shakedowns/MOD reports.
o Understands and can complete Front Desk AM, and Front Desk PM Checklists.
o Must have full understanding of Select Guest Program.
o Work closely with revenue, housekeeping, front desk, and room service for any special packages, events, and guest requests to ensure all details are carried out correctly.
o Set up amenity delivery for any special events or occasions.
o Must be able to assist in front office operations during busy times.
o Ensure work area is clean and clear of debris or any objects that can obstruct the job duties from being performed safely, efficiently and effectively, and check equipment maintenance.
o Must have excellent customer service skills to diffuse and or resolve difficult guest situations o Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
o Must have excellent organization skills and must be able to multitask.
Qualifications Customer Service, prior admin experience preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Delphi or similar programs.
Excellent organizational skills.
Clear, positive, energetic communication skills.
Able to deliver and communicate to diverse crowd of associates.
Excellent communication and literature skills.
Prior supervisory experience in a hotel is required, preferably in Front Office or Housekeeping Omni Hotels & Resorts is an equal opportunity employer - vets/disability.
